A Vice President (VP) of Strategy and Development is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the formulation and execution of an association strategic initiatives and growth plans.
Strategy Development: Lead the development of the association short-term and long-term strategic plans aligned with its mission, vision, and objectives.
Fundraising - responsible for building relationships with prospective donors and clients across multiple sectors, communicating with the broader public and internal teams, delegating tasks, and drawing up plans to ensure annual targets are met.
Business Planning: Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential markets to expand the organization's reach and revenue streams.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and assess competitive landscapes to make informed strategic decisions.
Public Relations and Communications: Manage external communications, including press releases, media relations, and partnerships to enhance the association's visibility and reputation.

Education: A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is often preferred.
Experience: Significant experience (typically 10+ years) in strategic planning, business development, or related roles, preferably in relevant industries.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, drive strategic initiatives, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and make strategic decision and analyze financial data
Strategic Vision: A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to envision long-term objectives and translate them into actionable plans.

What will you be doing?
• Discover, collect, analyze, validate, calculate, and aggregate ESG data for reporting.
• Interpret ESG trends, regulatory actions, and key ESG-related topics; develop insights and reports for leadership.
• Engage with regional and functional team members on the implementation of the ESG program.
• Maintain strong relationships with key internal business partners to ensure ongoing support of ESG initiatives.
דרישות התפקיד וניסיון נדרש:
• Bachelor's degree, a relevant academic degree in ESG-related field is a plus
• 3 years+ of work experience in a consulting company or in a Private sector corporate working sustainability and ESG
• Passion for sustainability
• Strong interpersonal skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills
• Fact-based decision making and problem-resolution skills
• Experience in industrial company and renewable energy is a plus
• Experience with ESG reporting standards, requirements, and common frameworks, e.g. SASB, TCFD, GRI, etc.
• English language verbal and written communication skills.
