Act as a subject expert across the business.
Take technical responsibility for the power circuit design, simulation, validation, and characterization across multiple products ensuring their successful delivery.
Evaluate and enable innovative solutions for cost, size, efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Generate design documentations.
Root-cause and solve technical issues during new product development and in field escalations.
Characterize power consumption, battery run time, battery charging/discharging curve.
Execute various battery module and pack system tests at the Normal Battery Test Facility
Support facility startup operations for commissioning and integration of battery test systems
Execution of detailed test methods for conducting characterization of control system behaviors
Create test outlines and detailed methods including equipment, instrumentation and test assets
Qualify and commission battery electrical test equipment
Work toward achievement of program test schedule
Knowledge of the characteristics of power conversion such as linear and of switching regulators.
Experience in Battery Management System – Big Advantage.
Speak up for safety issues and read across activities for actions and closures
Knowledge and experience of SOC and battery thermal management.

דרישות התפקיד וניסיון נדרש:

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry years of work experience.
3+ years of experience on EE design and low voltage power design in consumer electronics or related fields.
Qualified to work with currents up to 630A
Excellent scripting skills for test automation. High energy and self-motivated
Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal)
A strong level of self-motivation, responsibility, and teamwork
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and variable environment

Willingness to continuously learn and exceed expectations
