Cybereason is looking for an experienced Software Architect to lead our endpoint detection and protection group. The group is responsible for enhancing and improving our detection and protection for Windows, Mac and Linux, emphasizing on high performance and low-footprint solution in a highly scalable distributed system.
The challenges in this position include leading the technical agenda across multiple engineering teams, reshaping and building a highly flexible and maintainable infrastructure while leading the overall improvement of developer's skill, knowledge, and competence throughout the R&D team.
In this position you will:
- Lead the definition and implementation of key software systems.
- Research, identify, select, and test technology products required for the solution
- Perform requirements shaping and mapping to architecture software components.
- Provide technical and methodology guidance to the teams
- Be able to reduce complex problems into manageable pieces, define their interactions and communicate these concepts to all.
- Lead the design for the entire endpoint stack. Perform code reviews to make sure code aligns with design, architecture and standards.
- Keep up-to-date on new trends and changes in the software technology world. Actively POC new technologies.
- Translate the vision and roadmap into architecture and design changes.
- Maintain a good cross teams relationship
דרישות התפקיד וניסיון נדרש:
Requirements:
- B.Sc. (M.Sc. – an advantage) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or related BSc/MSc degree in Computer field).
- Over 10 years of hands-on experience in software/architecture of complex software systems in C/C++, preferred modern C++ (11 and above), on complex SW projects.
- Experience working with cross-platform c++ product
- Experience in building complex, scalable products. Ability to clearly communicate and explain the design criteria, tradeoffs and decisions made.
- Windows internals knowledge – a significant advantage
- Ability to influence without direct authority, a leader.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to multitask and deliver on challenging software development tasks.
- Experienced in a multinational organization
- Firm understanding of security concepts – a significant advantage
