You are:
A developer who understands software engineering best practices (clean code, testing, code reviews, immutability, etc) and who’s aware of bad practices and anti-patterns too. You’re passionate and highly intelligent, able to clearly express and defend your opinions while also being open to other approaches, and you know how to work independently, solving any task!
You’re also proactive, always striving to understand why things are done the way they are. You never take the current state of anything for granted!
Advantageous if you:
- Are familiar with JavaScript, both server- and client-side.
- Have experience with multiple programming languages.
- Feel comfortable working in a *nix environment.
- Have experience with development ecosystems (dev, CI etc).
- Have practiced Test-Driven Development and/or Continuous Delivery.
- Have contributed to, or managed, an open-source project.
- Have been a “go to” person in your previous teams/organizations.
- Are familiar with web standards and protocols.
