Main Responsibilities:

Join R&D optics team for research and development of novel optical products for gas and fire sensing and improvements to current product offerings.

The scope of the position includes the investigation and understanding of current research and development in the field of gas fire smoke and imaging detection, the engineering and development of novel prototype systems, development and documentation of intellectual property, tight work with mechanical, electrical, optical and software engineers in product development and transfer of new product offerings to manufacturing operations.

The role will include definition and characterization of optics solutions for future products and for day to day practical (field) support for Engineering, Production and other departments.
