Production Engineer
1. Product Transition:
• Collaborate with R&D and Design teams to ensure smooth transition of products from development to production.
• Conduct design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) reviews.
• Develop and implement engineering change requests/orders (ECR/ECO).
2. Process Optimization:
• Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, productivity and reduce costs
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and optimize production layouts, workflows, and equipment.
3. Quality Assurance:
• Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high product quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA).
• Monitor the production improvement by KPIs.
4. Production Support:
• Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Train production staff on new processes and equipment.
5. Project Management:
• Lead and participate in cross-functional project teams to drive product and process improvements.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with the production planning team to plan and schedule manufacturing operations.
• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
6. Technology Integration:
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies and automation solutions to enhance production capabilities.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to source and implement new equipment and materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 3- 5 years of experience in production engineering or a similar role in the tech manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and manufacturing best practices.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks).
• Proficient in MS Vision and MS Project
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in the advanced cooling solutions industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in Priority ERP is a plus.
• Experience in project management is a plus.
• Proficiency in English - both written and spoken.
Working Conditions
• This role may require occasional travel to supplier or customer sites.
• The role may also require working in a manufacturing environment, which includes exposure to machinery, noise, and raw materials.
