Production Planning Engineer (PPE)
Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders and demand forecasts.
•Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays or changes in priorities.Build and manage product trees within Priority Software to optimize production planning.
•Analyze and understand production processes, including cost estimation, time requirements, and materials needed.
•Plan and allocate raw materials for various production lines to ensure seamless operation.
•Issue and manage Work Orders and Assembly Certificates in warehouse operations.
•Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
•Address and resolve production or supply chain disruptions promptly.
•Generate reports on production performance, resource utilization, and delivery timelines.standards.
•Collaborate effectively with Procurement, Quality, and R&D functions to streamline and enhance production processes.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
•At least two years of experience in planning and managing production processes.
•Knowledge and experience with production planning and management software (ERP, MRP, etc.).
•Experienced with MS Office, and especially with Project and Excel
•Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
•Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
•Close attention to detail and self-motivated
•Proficiency in English - both written and spoken.
