We are:
Wix’s CRM Group - we build innovative products for small and micro businesses in the area of customer relationship management, and about a million of these businesses already use our product. We strive to create easy-to-use yet robust tools including contacts management, invoices, chat functionality, form builder, chat-like CRM with multiple channels and a marketing automation solution.
As a Head of R&D, you will:
- Lead and continuously develop a team of high-caliber, experienced developers.
- Work alongside the Wix CRM product team to maintain and develop Wix’s success.
- Leverage previous development expertise, take part in the delivery process and stay ahead with the latest in cutting-edge technologies.
- Play a key role in architectural and strategic decisions.
- Work alongside other Wix R&D teams and R&D management.
- Work with development teams, product owners, QA and others to maintain high levels of visibility and efficiency, and collaborate on and influence new products.
You are:
An experienced R&D professional with 5+ years’ web development experience, as well as 5+ years’ management experience on engineering teams. You have experience in continuous integration, continuous delivery and TDD, and have demonstrated strength in both client & server development in B2C web companies. Along with your deep understanding of OOP, you’re experienced with Scala, Java or C#.
You’re passionate about cutting-edge technology and take a hands-on, delivery and quality-oriented approach. You understand the technical complexity that’s involved in web development at scale, and have an expert sense of architecture and design. You’re also an experienced mentor and guide for teams of engineers. You always stay up-to-date on the latest industry advancements, and know how to implement that info into products in creative ways.
