The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Dell EMC’s Data Protection Division (DPD) provides solutions protecting data everywhere from physical to virtual to cloud. Cloud Disaster Recovery (CDR) allows enterprises to copy backed-up VMs from their on-prem environments to the public cloud (AWS, Azure) for the orchestration and automation of DR testing, DR fail-over and failback of Tier 2 workloads to/from the cloud in a disaster scenario.
We’re looking for a talented quality engineer & test automation developer for our CDR team in Beer Sheva.
Responsibilities:
- Develop tools and applications for optimizing and supporting test infrastructure
- Participate in Agile processes to develop test plans, specs and test cases for functional, regression, longevity, performance, compatibility and scale testing
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Build and extend test automation
- Collaborate with internal/external team members on complex tasks to test, fix and improve product
Essential Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience
- Programming skills in Java
- Knowledge of test automation
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of cloud technologies
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Storage and Filesystem knowledge
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure
