Tier 1 Analyst (National CERT, Beer Sheva)
Dell EMC’s Cyber Solutions Group (CSG) is seeking Tier 1 Analyst candidates to join a leading team working in the National CERT in Beer Sheva that is responsible for protecting the nation’s civilian cyber space.
The position requires the availability to work at least 3 shifts a week where 2 of them are day shifts between Sun-Thu. The position also requires the availability to work night and weekend/holiday shifts.
Responsibilities include:
- First responder to incoming requests and cybersecurity incidents.
- Perform initial investigations, triage, enrich data, categorize and prioritize security incidents.
- Document and monitor the status and progress of requests and the incident response.
- Work in a team environment reporting to managers in National CERT.
- Basic knowledge of fundamental cyber security and IT networking concepts.
- Good verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- High motivation and ability to invest in continuous learning on cybersecurity topics.
- SOC experience and/or operating a SIEM is an advantage.
- Cyber security experience from the military is an advantage.
Minimum Required Education:
1st degree student in Computer Science or Engineering or Sciences with at remainder of at least 1.5 years left until completing university.
